Orange stone

I picked this stone because it reminds me of mudlarking on the beach and in the back garden with my Mum, who inspired my interest in materials and looking at things when I was very small. She showed me how beautiful normal rocks were revealed to be when wet, and I wished they looked like that all the time. We painted them with nail varnish and glue and moisturised them to try and keep the colours. This rock seems to be an exception in its splendid orange.
